October 31st, 2010 was one of the best birthdays I've ever had. And no, I didn't do any partying that consisted of alcohol, drugs, and sex. I spent the entire day with my family. For the short 15 hours or so, I felt like I was living a dream full of love and nurture. It was truly a day for the books. Thank you to all of you who care.

Words truly can not express how much I love this video. I am officially in love with Katy Perry. I'm proud of what she is doing for our world. I admire it. To me the video is about being yourself. Being comfortable with yourself. Loving yourself. Until this video, I forgot what it was like to be myself. I now remember. You've done well, Miss Perry. My generation thanks you.

The morning of Friday, October 29th, I woke up with the intentions of dressing like a nerd. I failed. Turns out a yellow plaid shirt, grey jeans, and a pair of mocks doesn't account for a nerd. Fortunately, Halloween is right around the corner. Otherwise known as my birthday. I now get another attempt to dress like a nerd. I also might dress as a thug. You know, because I'm so 'G' that I'm almost 'H'.
